Full job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an organised, friendly Customer Service Assistant to join our administration team in North Devon. Leisureshopdirect is a long-established UK supplier of caravan and motorhome parts, camping equipment, tents, awnings and accessories, serving customers across the UK and abroad.

No two days are quite the same. You’ll be a friendly point of contact for our customers, helping with their orders, sorting out problems and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. A typical day might include:

Answering customer emails and resolving queries
Processing orders, amendments and refunds
Chasing suppliers and couriers for updates on orders and deliveries
Reviewing and authorising international and flagged orders
Supporting the warehouse team with order-related queries

There’s plenty to learn, but full training is provided — so warehouse or e-commerce experience is a welcome bonus rather than a must.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

Organised, with a keen eye for detail
A confident and clear written communicator
Comfortable using computer systems and email
Calm and capable when juggling a busy, varied workload
A natural problem-solver who enjoys helping people
This is a 25-hour week, Monday to Friday, 10am to 3pm.

Previous customer service or administrative experience is desirable but not essential.

OUR BUSY SEASON

We’re a seasonal business, gearing up from the spring into the summer are our busiest months. So that we can look after our customers when it matters most, the whole team keeps annual leave to a minimum during this peak period. We’ll always be upfront about this, and there’s plenty of flexibility to take time off during our quieter months.
