Olive Tree Turkish Restaurant – High Wycombe

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About Us

Olive Tree Turkish Restaurant is a busy, family-run restaurant in High Wycombe, serving authentic Turkish cuisine in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Bartender to join our team and help deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

The Role

As a Bartender, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent experience for our guests. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, while maintaining high standards of customer service, cleanliness and professionalism.

Working closely with the front-of-house, you will help ensure efficient service and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, to a consistently high standard.
Deliver friendly, professional and attentive customer service at all times.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the bar area throughout each shift.
Restock the bar and monitor stock levels, reporting shortages to management.
Process customer payments accurately using the POS system.
Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Follow all food hygiene, licensing, health and safety procedures.
Assist with opening and closing duties and other general bar responsibilities as required.

What We’re Looking For

Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
Experience preparing cocktails is preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant.
Reliable, punctual and well presented.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues.
Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices.
Availability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the needs of the business.
