Here at Mystery Shoppers Ltd (MSL), we are on a mission to improve customer experiences all over the UK. We help our clients to understand what they can do to create lots of happy customers by testing their services.

Now before you get too excited, we don’t just spend our time shopping all day! Here at Mystery Shoppers HQ, we work behind the scenes to arrange for members of the public who have signed up with us as mystery shoppers, to go to our client's locations (banks, shops etc.) at the right time, and once they’ve spent some time interacting with staff, they fill in their feedback questionnaire. We then read through it to make sure it’s of good quality before we submit it to the client and provide them with ways in which they can improve.

We work in all industries and have carried out all sorts of types of mystery shopping, from classic burger orders to lengthy mortgage applications. Anywhere a customer experience exists, whether in person, on the phone or online, you will find us providing feedback!

We’re excited to offer an apprenticeship opportunity within one of our Client Services Teams as a Client Services Administrator Apprentice. You’ll join one of 10 specialist teams at MSL, each focusing on specific industries to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise for our clients. This apprenticeship will give you the chance to learn on the job, gain valuable industry experience, and work towards a recognised qualification while contributing to our dedicated client services team.

We work with a variety of different training providers based in the South West that can offer both Business Administration and Customer Services Apprenticeships of varying levels. Depending on the training provider, these qualifications can be done in person or remotely, depending on what suits you best. We are happy for the successful applicant to choose the apprenticeship that works best for them and will work with them to support in whatever way we can. Team Leader Apprenticeships are also available for those who are interested, at an increased rate of pay.

Progression opportunities are available within the first 12 months if desired.

As part of the role, there may be occasional travel to meet clients in different locations across the UK. This could involve long days or overnight stays, but typically no more than a couple of times a month on average.

As part of your apprenticeship, you’ll receive:

> A dedicated mentor to support you throughout your journey.

> Regular one-to-one check-ins and performance reviews.

> Protected time during the working week for study and coursework.

> Opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

The role involves:

> Selecting appropriate mystery shoppers from our panel of over 300,000 shoppers!

> Briefing the mystery shopper via phone and email on what to do, chatting to them and making sure they understand.

> Supporting the mystery shoppers until they’ve completed the tasks.

> Looking at completed assessment forms and ensuring they are corrected for spelling, grammar and accurate answers.

Need to knows:

> Office hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday (later/earlier starts/finishes are always considered).

> 28 days’ holiday including 8 bank holidays plus 5 days extra paid leave (pro rata for part-time staff).

> Contractual 5 days sick pay included.

> 6-month settling in period.

> Subject to satisfactory DBS and ID/credit check
