Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering excellent customer service, supporting food and beverage operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food service, strong organisational skills, and a positive attitude. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic setting, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring prompt delivery and presentation
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Serve food and drinks efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system and handle payments efficiently
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant or café
Assist in opening or closing procedures as required, including setting up or cleaning down work areas

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately
Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive guest experiences
