Full job description

Overview

We are looking for two enthusiastic Football Coaches to join our team on Saturday mornings.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for sports coaching and enjoy educating children in the fundamentals of football within a fun, positive, and inclusive environment.

Mini Soccer Advance was created in 2018 and has quickly become the go-to destination for fun football for children aged 3 to 12. We now coach over 350 children every Saturday morning and operate across four locations in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole.

This role involves leading sessions and supporting a team of coaches. Previous coaching experience is therefore ideal.

If you enjoy inspiring others, leading from the front, and helping children develop both on and off the pitch, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging training sessions that enhance children’s football skills and confidence, in line with the Mini Soccer Advance values.
Work collaboratively with our existing team of 20 coaches to ensure each class delivers maximum value and enjoyment for the children.
Coach children aged 3 to 12 years, adapting your coaching style to suit different age groups and abilities.
Communicate effectively and appropriately with both children and parents, always maintaining a professional approach.
Consistently uphold and represent the Mini Soccer Advance values.
Demonstrate excellent timekeeping, organisation, and energy at every session.

Requirements

Previous experience in sports coaching is preferred.
Ability to educate players on the rules, techniques, and basic tactics of football
Strong communication and leadership skills
A genuine passion for developing children, both individually and as part of a team
The ability to coach in a positive manner, using a positive tone and wording

*MUST HAVE VALID ENHANCED DBS OR BE WILLING TO HAVE ONE DONE*

Pay: £12.50-£16.00 per hour

Experience:

Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
