Full job description

Job Title: Sales Negotiator
Location: Colchester – Severalls Business Park
Salary: OTE £30,000
Type: Full-Time

As a Sales Negotiator at Moveplus, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties across our Assisted Move and Part Exchange schemes, with the objective of proving accurate marketing recommendations with feedback and securing acceptable offers. You will act as the central point of contact for customers, local estate agents, prospective purchasers and developers, working collaboratively to agree acceptable offers and produce accurate memorandum of sales. This is a key role in supporting customers in securing their new home on our Assisted Move Scheme and ensure prompt re-sales for developers on Part Exchange properties.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide vendors with regular feedback, market updates, and activity reports.

· Recommend and agree action plans with local agents, subject to customer/developer approval.

· Complete all required Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on prospective buyers to ensure eligibility to proceed.

· Compile accurate Memorandum of Sales based on verified information received.

· Recommend financial and legal services to clients to support agreed timescales.

· Negotiate offers between buyers, vendors, and developers to achieve optimal outcomes for all parties.

· Liaise closely with the Sales Progression team following offer agreement to ensure a smooth handover.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, vendors, developers, and internal stakeholders.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.

· Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.

· Prepare and maintain accurate weekly reports detailing property status and marketing activity.

· Deliver consistently high levels of customer service while managing client expectations throughout the transaction.

· Respond promptly and professionally to external enquiries regarding property progress.

· Support the wider team during peak workload periods to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.

Essential Skills & Experience

Pride in Customer Service: A strong desire to provide a high level of customer service to both clients and developers.
Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, alongside proficiency with IT (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM systems).
Self-Motivated: An individual who thrives in a team setting but can also manage workload independently.
Organised: Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple clients and priorities.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in all aspects of the sales process.
Relationship Building: The ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships, both internally with the team and externally with developer clients.Desirable Skills & Experience

· Previous experience as a Sales Negotiator within an estate agency or property sales environment.

· Knowledge of property sales processes and terminology.

· Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
