Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English tutor to suppo This role involves delivering engaging lessons that foster language development, with a particular focus on students requiring specialised support such as those in special education programmes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys while working within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Duties

Deliver personalised English lessons tailored to individual student needs, including those with special educational requirements
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote language acquisition, literacy, and communication skills
Support students in improving their reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities through various instructional techniques
Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and active participation
Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other educators to ensure consistent support for each learner
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
Incorporate tutoring methods that cater to children’s learning styles and developmental stages

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English, preferably with children or in special education settings
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively
Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds and learning needs is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to develop customised lesson plans that meet individual student requirements
Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach towards learners of all ages
Relevant qualifications in Education, TESOL/TEFL, or equivalent are advantageous but not essential if accompanied by substantial practical experience
