Full job description

North Wigan PCN are looking for a dedicated Administration Coordinator to join our team and help drive smarter, evidence-based decisions across our Network of GP practices.

About us

North Wigan PCN Primary Care Network (PCN) is a collaborative partnership of 4 local GP practices working together to deliver high-quality patient-centred care to our community. We're committed to innovation, data-driven improvement, and supporting our teams to achieve the best possible outcome for our patients.

As our network grows, we're creating a new Administration Coordinator post to help us better understand, manage and improve our performance across a range of PCN priorities.

About the role

The post holder will work with the Management team and relevant teams and practices to support coordination of services within the network and implementation and standardization of agreed service changes, contracts, policies, pathways and quality improvement.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Monitor generic PCN email correspondence.
Support the Clinical Director with general administrative tasks as requested.
Design and run searches on EMIS and SystmOne to monitor performance against national and local targets, including IIF, Primary Care Standards and other PCN contractual requirements.
Develop and maintain clear and informative dashboards and reports to share with the PCN team and member practices.
Identify trends, patterns, and innovative solutions to help enhance patient care and practice efficiency.
Support data quality improvement initiatives across practices.
Develop strong relationships with PCN member practices and support the planning and delivery of improvements that will provide benefits to patients and staff.
Provide feedback to PCN leadership and to member practices on progress of current initiatives, capacity for change, progress and issues so that plans can be adapted in response.
Support practices and staff to effectively use existing and new technology systems and products to enable improvement.
Lead or participate in relevant working groups, project groups, service meetings and other forums across the PCN (and ICS) to agree changes, share learning, discuss challenges, and resolves issues.
Support the delivery of QOF, incentive schemes, QIPP and other quality or cost effectiveness initiatives across the network.
Monitor and provide regular updates to practices about their progress in project work and national contracts.
Attend meetings with the PCN when required, to provide updates and discuss the service.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

Polite and confident.
Confident in handling, interpreting and presenting complex datasets clearly.
Confident in using computers and the use of MS office and Outlook.
Methodical, accurate, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Motivated by improving patient outcomes and supporting quality care delivery.

Experience in working in a Primary Care or NHS environment would be advantageous.
