Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an organised Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is freelance, offering flexible hours and is ideal for individuals with a strong background in bookkeeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for a small pub, using Sage.

Duties

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Sage accounting software
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is up-to-date
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as required
Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents
Proven experience with accounting software Sage
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and external auditorsThis position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to utilise their bookkeeping expertise within a supportive environment. We value accuracy, professionalism, and organisational skills in our team members.

Hours are flexible. Accounting can be completed weekly or monthly. Can be carried out on site or from home.

Pay: £15.00 per hour
