We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. This role requires excellent observational skills, the ability to handle various situations with poise, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with licensing laws.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activity.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the integrity of the establishment.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to patrons as needed.
Liaise with local authorities when required, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements related to security operations.
Prepare incident reports as necessary, documenting any issues or breaches of security.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, is essential.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is advantageous.
Certification in first aid is preferred; candidates without certification must be willing to undergo training.
