Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Waitress to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a vibrant dining environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requests are noted
Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Assist with setting up tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
Support with basic food preparation tasks as required, maintaining kitchen safety protocols
Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and serving procedures
Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously
Basic culinary knowledge to assist with food presentation and understanding of menu items
Effective time management to ensure prompt service during peak hours
Upselling techniques to promote specials and increase sales potential

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences in a lively restaurant environment.
