Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician (GPHC registered) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacist by preparing and dispensing medications, assisting with patient care, and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy clinical services. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment committed to patient well-being.

Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense prescribed medications
Assist patients with medication queries and provide guidance on proper usage
Manage inventory, including stock checks and placing orders for supplies
Maintain precise records of medication dispensation and patient interactions
Support with medication administration processes where appropriate
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the pharmacy setting
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy area to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety

Skills

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician (GPHC registration)
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to effectively assist patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
Excellent IT skills , (Titan PMR would be desirable)
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating professionalism at all times
Bonus if the targets are reached
Availability to start ASAP would be appreciated.
Salary will be reviewed periodically

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
