Full job description

Happy Littles Play is a Play Cafe in Mallusk, Newtownabbey. Our focus is on providing a fun, engaging, and safe environment for families, blending the fun of play with food and coffee. The cafe features soft play activities, role play activities and a play space for little ones (0-1). We aim to create a friendly, welcoming space for parents to relax and kids to have fun.

What You'll Do:

As a team member, you will be an essential part of our family-friendly environment. Your duties will include:

Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
Overseeing and ensuring the safety of the play areas.
Serving and preparing food and beverages in the cafe area.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the work place.
Assisting in the organisation of events and birthday parties.
Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
Adhering to health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all visitors.
Clean and reset the play area and cafe at the end of the day upon closing

What You'll Need

Previous experience in a customer service role.
A friendly, lively, and approachable personality.
Basic knowledge of health and safety and hygiene practices; formal experience is a bonus.
Experience in a cafe, restaurant, or as a barista is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Flexibility to work in various roles within the Play Cafe.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
