We are recruiting Bar Staff to join the team at the Thurlestone Hotel.

Live in accommodation is available in our fully refurbished staff accommodation just a 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Thurlestone Hotel & Spa is a luxury, family-owned, 4-star 65-bedroom hotel situated on the spectacular South Devon coast. The hotel includes the 2 AA Rosette Trevilder Restaurant, Voyage Spa, 9-hole golf course, The Village inn Pub as well as a range of sports facilities including tennis and a seasonal kids club.

Delivering the high-levels of hospitality and first-class service that guests have experienced here for over 120 years would not be possible without the right team so when recruiting we are looking for people with the right personality, attitude and passion to deliver an exceptional experience to all of our guests and support their colleagues at all times.

Key responsibilities

Giving a warm welcome to all guests and interacting with them during their visit.
Display excellent product knowledge to help guests in making their choices.
Take orders accurately and ensure any dietary requirements are communicated clearly to the kitchen.
Prepare drinks, cocktails and hot beverages and serve these to guests.
Ensure all front of house and back of house areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Serving food to guests.
Ensuring all Health & Safety, Food Hygiene procedures are adhered to at all times.
Maintain and restock the bars.
