We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Blackberry Veterinary Clinic on a full-time basis.

Set in an idyllic location, Blackberry Veterinary Clinic offers a varied and rewarding working environment where no two days are the same. Following a recent refurbishment, our practice now benefits from expanded consulting rooms, a dedicated cat waiting area and an upgraded laboratory. We provide a full range of first opinion veterinary services, including dentistry, radiography and surgery, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, multitasking and being part of a supportive team that genuinely cares about its clients, patients and colleagues.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, creating a welcoming and professional experience from the moment they arrive. You'll play an important role in ensuring every client journey runs smoothly while supporting the day-to-day operation of the practice.

Working Pattern

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Welcome clients and answer telephone enquiries in a friendly and professional manner

Support the full client journey, from booking appointments through to processing payments

Manage appointment diaries and maintain accurate client records

Process prescription requests and prepare medications for clinical checks

Assist with stock control, ordering and deliveries, including occasional light lifting

Complete end-of-day banking procedures

Maintain clean, tidy and well-stocked client-facing areas, including displays and information packs

Contribute ideas to help improve the experience for clients, patients and colleagues
