Full job description

Job title: Warranty Engineer

Location: Leads Rd Hull,

Hours: Monday – Friday, 48hrs

Salary: £43,000 - £49,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role

To manage and process all aftersales warranty claims efficiently and accurately, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times. The Warranty Engineer will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal departments, completing warranty-related activities and ensuring claims are completed within agreed timescales while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The role requires the Warranty Engineer to work on customer and company sites across the UK from Monday to Thursday, providing hands-on support on warranty resolution activities as required. On Fridays, the successful candidate will be based at our Leads Road site loading parts, reviewing schedule duties for the following week and liaising with the internal team.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with customers, service engineers and internal departments to resolve warranty-related matters.
process all aftersales warranty claims efficiently and accurately,
Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
Ensure warranty claims are addressed within required deadlines and followed through to successful resolution.
Provide exceptional customer service, responding professionally and promptly to customer enquiries and concerns.
Prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines and service level expectations.
Monitor outstanding warranty cases and provide regular updates to customers and management.
Identify recurring issues and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to achieve business objectives.

Experience within the leisure homes, construction, manufacturing, housing, or aftersales sector.

Technical understanding of property, construction, or manufacturing defects and repairs.
