Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage financial records, oversee accounts payable processes, and support administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will contribute significantly to maintaining accurate financial data and fostering an efficient workplace environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone eager to apply their accounting expertise in a collaborative setting while supporting the overall administrative needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records using accounting software Xero to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Process accounts payable by verifying invoices, preparing payments, and managing vendor relationships efficiently.
Reconcile bank statements and financial reports regularly to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
Assist with payroll processing, expense tracking, and budget management to support financial planning.
Support administrative duties including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining filing systems.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and improve overall office workflows.
Prepare basic financial reports for management review and assist with audits as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with accounting software Xero is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping practices.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Prior experience in administrative support is preferred but not mandatory.
