Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that enhance the durability and appearance of our projects. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with precision and care, helping us deliver exceptional results on time and within scope. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact the success of our construction projects. Must have own tools and transport

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Mix paints, stains, and primers to achieve desired colors and textures according to project specifications
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with accuracy and efficiency
Follow safety protocols and use protective gear to maintain a safe working environment at all times
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any surface issues
Maintain cleanliness of work area during and after completion of painting tasks
Inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance, touch up as needed, and ensure adherence to project standards

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting or related field preferred; a strong understanding of painting techniques is essential
Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and collaborate effectively with team members
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, or climbing ladders
Knowledge of safety practices in construction environments and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
