Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our busy café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and capable of multitasking efficiently during busy periods.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards.
Assist customers with their orders, ensuring a friendly and professional service at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces.
Support food preparation activities, including assembling sandwiches, salads, or other light snacks.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health regulations at all times.
Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers through positive engagement.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or in food service is essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable.
Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Ability to work well within a team and independently when required.
Flexibility to work shifts during peak hours, including weekends if necessary.
