Full job description

Part-Time Executive Assistant – Brighton & Hove

20 hours per week | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–12:30pm
£16–£18 per hour, depending on experience

About Us

Property Painters is an award-winning, family-run painting, decorating and refurbishment company based in Brighton & Hove.

We are a growing business with ambitious plans for the future and are looking for an organised, proactive and reliable Executive Assistant to work closely with the Director and help keep the business running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys organisation, communicating with people, solving problems and making sure things get done.

The Role

You will work closely with the Director and provide day-to-day administrative and organisational support across the business/es.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing diaries (personal/business), appointments and schedules
Managing and prioritising emails and correspondence
Speaking with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
Booking appointments and following up enquiries
Preparing documents, quotes and other correspondence
Updating our CRM and customer records
Keeping track of follow-ups, deadlines and outstanding actions
Helping coordinate ongoing customer projects
Maintaining organised digital files and records
Supporting marketing and general business administration
Helping improve our systems and processes
Taking ownership of tasks and making sure they are completed

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Proactive and able to work without constant supervision
Confident communicating by telephone and email
Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
Comfortable using computers and learning new software
Experienced with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Able to prioritise several tasks at once
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Comfortable meeting/working in a Hove Coffee Shop
Someone who enjoys taking responsibility and getting things done

Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Office Manager or in a similar administrative role would be an advantage.

Pay: From £16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
