Assistant Management Accountant – Bradford I £30,000 to £35,000 I study support.

Coral Windows are a family run business who have had over 30 years’ experience within the home improvement industry. Coral was founded by John Valente in 1990 and we started our journey at Perseverance Mill in Wibsey, before moving to our Bradford Mill home on Halifax Road just two years later. Now 30 years later, our wealth of experience and knowledge has allowed us to become an established customer favourite across Yorkshire, providing homes with market-leading products and exceptional customer service.

The business continues to grow year on year and despite many competitors struggling, has remained continually profitable.

Due to continuous improvement within our business we are now looking to add an intelligent and ambitious Assistant Management accountant into our team at our Bradford head office.

The business has built success on delivering excellent products and installations consistently across the last 35 years, which has enabled the business to continue to thrive and grow throughout our history.

The Assistant Management Accountant supports the Finance and Accounting team in producing accurate and timely financial information, assisting with all aspects within the finance function. The role helps ensure financial data integrity and supports decision-making across the organisation.

Salary: £30,000- £35,000 Depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for the Purchase Ledger

· Responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts for Coral Windows.

· Accurately prepare and record all journal entries for all relevant entities.

· Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, documenting reconciling items and ensuring all differences are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly.

· Prepare VAT returns

· Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

· Provide support for the year-end audit and statutory account preparation.

· Support the Finance Controller and Management Accountant with ad hoc projects and process improvements where necessary.

· Support stock reporting

· Providing adequate cover over the finance team where required.

· Any other ad-hoc tasks as requested.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS /SKILLS:

Part qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA, ACA) or AAT Studier
Relevant experience in a similar role
Strong technical, analytic, and reporting skills
Excellent IT skills (advanced knowledge of Excel essential)
Accurate and attention to detail
Able to meet deadlines.
Technically strong
Inquisitive and a finisher
