Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant procedures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant team, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery
Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment
Support food preparation and cooking activities to maintain quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Manage customer service interactions, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production and presentation
Assist in training new team members in service procedures and safety protocols
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Uphold hospitality standards by creating welcoming atmospheres for guests
Support the management team in implementing promotional activities and special events

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example
Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen operations
Culinary experience or background in food production is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings
Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential
Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills
Familiarity with restaurant management systems and POS technology
