The Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded leader who thrives on creating clarity, efficiency, and operational excellence.
As Head of Operational Excellence & Business Transformation, you will be responsible for evaluating, redesigning, documenting, and continuously improving business processes across all departments. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the business is built on scalable, measurable, and repeatable systems that support sustainable growth.
This role is focused on designing and optimising how the business operates, rather than managing day-to-day departmental activity.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Strategy & Business Improvement
- Lead organisation-wide operational excellence initiatives.
- Analyse end-to-end business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design scalable operating models capable of supporting continued growth.
- Challenge existing ways of working and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop a culture of operational accountability and efficiency.
Process Mapping & Documentation
- Document and standardise business-critical processes across all departments.
- Create end-to-end process maps and workflow documentation.
- Establish and maintain company-wide Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop frameworks that ensure consistency and operational excellence.
Performance & KPI Management
- Design and implement key performance indicators across departments.
- Build operational dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor performance trends and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Provide regular insight and recommendations to the Executive Team.
Automation & Systems Optimisation
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve systems and technology.
- Drive CRM and workflow optimisation, including HubSpot where appropriate.
- Improve operational efficiency through technology and process innovation.
Business Transformation
- Lead strategic improvement projects from concept through implementation.
- Support organisational change initiatives and ensure successful adoption.
- Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, scalability, customer experience, and operational performance.

About You
You are naturally curious, highly organised, and passionate about building high-performing businesses through process excellence.
You enjoy identifying inefficiencies, simplifying complexity, and implementing scalable solutions that enable organisations to grow effectively.
Essential Experience
- Significant experience in Operational Excellence, Business Transformation, Continuous Improvement, or Process Improvement.
- Proven track record of improving business performance through systems and process redesign.
- Experience mapping complex operational workflows and implementing scalable solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience developing KPI frameworks and performance reporting systems.
- Strong project and change management skills.
Desirable Experience
- Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), or Continuous Improvement qualifications.
- Experience implementing or optimising CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot.
- Experience within a high-growth or founder-led business environment.
- Knowledge of automation platforms and workflow technologies.
- Experience developing SOP frameworks and organisational knowledge bases.
