Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, commercially minded Social Media & Content Manager to take responsibility for the social media presence and growth of three flooring and interiors brands.

Although the businesses share products and manufacturing capabilities, each brand targets a different audience and needs its own identity, tone of voice and social media strategy.

Our Brands

Barham & Sons
Our retail and consumer-facing brand, targeting homeowners and customers looking for premium flooring, doors and interior products.

Vitastyle
Our trade-focused brand, aimed at flooring retailers, trade customers and business partners.

Cheville Parquet
Our premium, design-led brand aimed primarily at interior designers, architects, specifiers and high-end projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making all three brands considerably stronger across social media while ensuring they each look and feel different.

We don't simply want somebody to schedule posts.

We want someone who can create content, film, edit video, spot opportunities, develop ideas, grow followers and build engaged audiences around each brand.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a separate social media strategy for each of our three brands
Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
Create and manage monthly content calendars
Regularly create Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories and short-form videos
Film content within our showroom, warehouse and manufacturing facility
Film products being manufactured and finished
Create behind-the-scenes factory content
Film new flooring products, colours and collections
Create installation and completed-project content
Edit professional short-form video
Turn existing photography and video into engaging new content
Write captions and social media copy
Create graphics, carousels and product-focused posts
Schedule and publish content consistently
Research trends, sounds, formats and content opportunities
Develop ideas designed specifically to increase reach and followers
Respond to and engage with comments and relevant accounts
Build relationships with interior designers, architects, flooring companies and other industry accounts
Find opportunities for collaborations and influencer content
Help encourage customers, installers and designers to provide project photographs and videos
Develop customer case studies and before-and-after content
Help launch new products and collections through social media
Create campaigns around samples, offers and product launches
Monitor competitors and identify content opportunities
Track follower growth, reach, engagement, enquiries and website traffic
Produce a simple monthly performance report showing what is working
Continually test new ideas rather than simply repeating the same type of content

The Person We're Looking For

You should be:

Creative and full of content ideas
Confident filming video
Strong at editing short-form video
Comfortable creating Reels and TikToks
Experienced with Instagram
Able to understand what makes content perform
Commercially minded rather than focused only on likes
Confident managing several social media accounts
Highly organised
Able to plan content in advance
Comfortable working independently
Proactive rather than waiting to be told what to post
Interested in interiors, property, architecture, design or premium products
Able to understand three different target audiences
Comfortable working with our wider team to obtain content
Able to maintain a premium appearance while still producing engaging and current content

Experience with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, Canva or similar would be beneficial.

Experience within interiors, property, architecture, home improvement, flooring, furniture or luxury products would be particularly valuable.

Help turn social media into a meaningful source of new business
