Help us create the pub everyone is talking about.

Five years from now, we want people to say, “Have you been to The Plough? The food is incredible.”

We want people to make the journey to Allscott because they've heard about the food.

We're looking for the chef who can make that happen.

This isn't just another Head Chef role. It's a rare opportunity to build a kitchen, create a food offering from the ground up and leave your mark on one of the most exciting pub openings in the Telford area for many years.

Following a £500,000 investment, The Plough Inn is being completely transformed. Alongside a stunning refurbishment of the pub, we're creating a brand-new commercial kitchen and are looking for someone with the passion, ambition and creativity to bring it to life.

Whether you're already an experienced Head Chef or an ambitious Sous Chef who's ready to take the next step, we'd love to hear from you.

This is your kitchen.

You'll have genuine influence over every part of the food operation.

From designing the menu and choosing suppliers to recruiting your team and shaping the culture of the kitchen, we want your ideas—not someone else's.

We don't want to hand you a folder and say, "Cook this."

What You'll Be Doing

· Designing and developing our menus.

· Creating seasonal specials.

· Choosing suppliers and sourcing quality ingredients.

· Recruiting, training and leading your own kitchen team.

· Setting the standards from day one.

· Managing food quality, GP and stock.

· Working closely with the management team to help establish The Plough Inn as one of Shropshire's best-loved destination pubs.

Who We're Looking For

We're far more interested in attitude than job titles.

You may already be an experienced Head Chef looking for a fresh challenge, or you may be an exceptional Sous Chef who's ready for the opportunity you've been waiting for.

What matters most is that you:

· Love producing fantastic food.

· Have ideas and want the freedom to bring them to life.

· Lead by example.

· Take pride in your work.

· Understand the commercial side of running a successful kitchen.

· Want to build something you'll be proud of.

· Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate (essential), or a willingness to obtain this before starting.
