Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist/Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a warm demeanour, and experience in hospitality or restaurant environments. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop guest service skills within a vibrant hospitality setting.

Duties

Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and ensuring they feel welcomed
Managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
Answering phone calls with professional phone etiquette and providing information as needed
Assisting guests with enquiries regarding services, facilities, or local attractions
Coordinating with the team to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
Handling guest check-ins and check-outs in a courteous manner
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
Supporting other front-of-house duties as required to ensure seamless operation

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is advantageous
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and stay organised under pressure
Good phone etiquette and professional demeanour
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
