Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine interest in promoting relaxation and physical well-being through therapeutic massage techniques. This role offers an opportunity to deliver personalised treatments in a tranquil environment, helping clients achieve relief from stress, muscle tension, and discomfort. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to providing exceptional customer care and maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Duties

Conduct professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or aromatherapy massages.
Assess clients’ physical condition and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are kept clean, hygienic, and well-maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Provide advice on post-treatment care and recommend suitable self-care practices to clients.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow while ensuring personalised attention.
Uphold confidentiality of client information at all times and adhere to professional standards of conduct.

Experience

Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Certification from a recognised massage therapy programme or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Knowledge of various massage techniques and their appropriate application is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a calming environment for clients.
Strong organisational skills to manage appointments effectively and maintain accurate records.
A professional attitude with a commitment to ongoing learning within the field of holistic health and wellness.
