Job Specification:
We are looking for a creative, organised, and hands-on Marketing & Content Executive to support the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity across the IDSL Group. This role plays an important part in creating, maintaining and coordinating content that helps our businesses communicate effectively with customers, employees, and industry partners.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will contribute to a wide range of marketing projects across multiple brands. Your work may include updating websites, creating social media content, supporting photography and video projects, producing presentations and printed materials, maintaining internal communications, coordinating branded assets and assisting with events and other business initiatives. No two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to gain experience across both digital and traditional marketing channels.
You will help ensure marketing materials remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with each brand, while supporting the wider business with professional and engaging content that delivers real value.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is keen to develop their skills within a growing group of businesses. Success in the role will come from being proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing a range of projects and priorities at any one time.
- Create, update, and optimise content for websites, social media channels, presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials.
- Support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of social media activity across the group’s brands.
- Assist with photography, videography and short-form video content for use across digital, social and internal communications.
- Maintain and refresh marketing collateral to ensure materials remain accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
- Produce and adapt business documents, templates and communication materials to support internal teams and projects.
- Assist with events, exhibitions, open days, and other initiatives where marketing support is required.
- Organise and maintain marketing assets, content libraries and shared resources to ensure they remain accessible and up to date.
- Liaise with external suppliers and partners, including print, signage, apparel and other marketing service providers.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, communicating progress and meeting agreed deadlines.
- Contribute ideas and support the development of marketing campaigns, content plans, and wider business initiatives.
We are looking for someone who is creative, practical, and organised, with a genuine interest in marketing and content creation. You may already have experience in a marketing, content, digital, social media or communications role and be ready for a position with greater variety and responsibility. You do not need to be an expert in every area, but you should be willing to get involved across different types of marketing activity and be keen to develop your skills over time. You will enjoy creating clear, engaging and professional content that helps support business objectives, whether that is a social media post, website update, brochure, presentation, photograph, short video or internal communication. You should be comfortable adapting your approach to suit different audiences, brands and communication channels. You should be comfortable working as part of a small team, managing a varied workload, and taking pride in producing work that is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the group’s brands.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in marketing, content, digital or communications role.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience creating content for websites, social media, and marketing materials.
- Experience managing or contributing to social media activity, for business purposes, particularly LinkedIn.
- An understanding of basic digital marketing, SEO and website content principles.
- Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) or similar.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- A proactive, practical, and adaptable approach to marketing and content delivery.
- A full UK driving licence.
Experience in any of the following would also be beneficial:
- Photography or short-form video content creation.
- Website updates using CMS such as WordPress and Elementor.
- Creating and updating brochures, presentations, flyers or sales materials.
- Working with print, signage, apparel or creative suppliers.
- Supporting events, exhibitions or internal communications.
We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must have an existing right to work in the UK.
Closing Date for applications: Wednesday, 22 July 2026.
Please send your CV and a short covering note explaining why you are interested in the role and how your experience could support the marketing activity across IDSL Group.
Examples of previous marketing work, content, photography, social media activity, design work or written materials would also be welcomed where available.
