Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office Administration Assistant to support our administrative team. This role involves providing efficient clerical support, managing correspondence, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, proficiency in various computer applications, and excellent communication abilities. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop valuable administrative experience within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Answering and directing phone calls with professional etiquette
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence via email and postal services
Organising and maintaining physical and digital filing systems
Data entry and updating records accurately using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Assisting with scheduling appointments and meetings
Preparing documents, reports, and presentations as required
Supporting team members with administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency
Utilising Sage for basic financial record keeping and invoicing tasks
Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the office

Requirements

Previous office experience or clerical experience is essential.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Experience with Sage or similar accounting software is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
