FutureMeds: Shaping the Future of Clinical Research

FutureMeds is a network of modern dedicated research sites conducting clinical trials. We are able to find eligible patients for trials across a wide variety of therapy areas, helping pharmaceutical companies and contract research organisations to run clinical trials as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. Our priority is the safety and health of our patients and by helping to bring them future medicines today we can play a key part in improving health.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Research Physician to join our established team in North Tees. In this role, you will play a key part in the coordination and execution of clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted safely, ethically and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Research Physician who is passionate about contributing to the advancement of clinical research and looking for a new challenge. This role is full time and based on-site in our North Tees clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and oversee clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Ensure the medical well-being and safety of all trial participants throughout the entirety of the study.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies, ethics committees and study sponsors to ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Provide medical expertise to the research team and assist with their training and development.
Data entry and safety reporting.
Record keeping must be accurate and legible with great attention to detail.
Maintain up to date record of training.
Optimise participant retention by developing good rapport and displaying professionalism at all times.
Ability to work under own initiative but always as part of the wider research team, maintaining good working relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:

GMC registration and licence to practice in the UK.
Experience as a Research Physician in a clinical research investigator site is preferred.
Previous experience in a Principal Investigator role is desirable.
Willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills.
Previous clinical research experience is essential.
