We are recruiting for an Implementation Specialist – Amazon Smart Properties to join our Solution Delivery and Innovation team. This is a field-based role that will require travel across our customer sites.
What will you be doing in this role?
As our Implementation Specialist, you will install, configure and commission Amazon Alexa and Amazon Smart Property solutions within our customer environments. You will ensure installations are completed safely, professionally and to agreed quality standards. You will have a naturally engaging style, offering a friendly, empathetic and excellent customer service every time.
This is a field-based role and will need to travel nationally to customer sites as required. A company car is provided, and you will require a full UK driving licence.
The Ideal candidate:
You will have proven experience in a field-based installation, deployment or technical support role, and have a familiarity with connected devices, mobile technology and cloud-based platforms. Whilst not essential, any experience within housing, telecare, healthcare or with smart technology and Amazon Alexa or smart home technologies would be desirable.
You will demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude, with excellent customer-facing communication skills and a practical approach to problem-solving. Strong organisation skills, including the ability to manage your own workload and travel schedule, are critical to success in this role.

Key areas of responsibility:
Install, configure and commission Amazon Alexa and Amazon Smart Properties solutions within customer environments
Carry out device deployment, setup, testing and troubleshooting activities on customer sites
Support Wi-Fi connectivity validation, device registration and basic network troubleshooting
Configure resident rooms, communal spaces and associated management consoles
Deliver onboarding support and assist with scheme go-live activities
Provide basic user guidance and training to scheme staff and residents
Work alongside Tunstall operational, service and project teams during deployments
Escalate technical or project issues appropriately where required
Maintain accurate implementation records, deployment documentation and asset tracking
Support pilot deployments, demonstrations and proof-of-concept activity
Ensure installations are completed safely, professionally and to agreed quality standards
Travel nationally to customer sites as required
Key skills and experience:
Experience in a field-based installation, deployment or technical support role
Familiarity with connected devices, mobile technology and cloud-based platforms
Good working knowledge of Wi-Fi and basic networking concepts
Strong customer-facing communication skills
Practical problem-solving capability
Ability to manage own workload and travel schedule effectively
Full UK driving licence
Desirable skills and experience:
Experience within housing, telecare, healthcare or smart technology environments
Familiarity with Amazon Alexa or smart home technologies
Experience supporting SaaS or connected device deployments
Understanding of Group Living or supported housing environment.
