Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service & Operations Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, good IT literacy with fast typing skills and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional service delivery. If you thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment and are passionate about helping others, this position is perfect for you!

Main responsibilities:

Responding to customer emails, website queries and TikTok Shop customer messages
Helping customers with orders, returns, delivery issues and general product questions
Keeping the tone friendly, helpful and on-brand
Moving orders through the system and helping with shipping systems where needed
Supporting Shopify, PayPal and other customer/order systems
Acting as a point of contact for wholesale orders and helping make sure they are processed smoothly
Helping organise wholesale stock, packing wholesale orders and checking they are dispatched correctly
Supporting the warehouse team during busy periods, including picking, packing, returns and product checks
Updating Google Sheets trackers and helping keep weekly tasks organised
Working closely with the team to make sure customer service, orders and daily operations run smoothly

This is a varied role in a small, fast-paced beauty business. The right person needs to be confident with customers, organised, happy to get stuck in, and comfortable switching between office-based customer service and hands-on operational support when needed.

Contract length is a minimum of 39 weeks and has potention to be extended beyond that.

Pay: £25,600.00 per year
