Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing exceptional service to our patrons while developing valuable skills within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables.
Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
Assist in restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels regularly.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Follow responsible serving practices and recognise signs of intoxication or inappropriate behaviour.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods.
Experience in serving or working within a restaurant environment is desirable but not mandatory.
A positive approach to teamwork and customer service is essential.
