Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Site Fitter / Steel Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be hardworking and enthusiastic, with experience in welding and/or fabrication being desirable. If you are successful, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and installing components to high-quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work with various tools, and a commitment to safety.

Duties

Fitting of architectural and structural steel according to specifications
Develop an understanding of engineering drawings for installation
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time

A CSCS Card is required for this role, training will be provided if the candidate does not hold a current accreditation.

A full UK driving license is preferred.

This role includes travelling for work on occasion, with overnight accommodation, paid travel time and generous stop-out allowances provided by the company.

Overtime and weekend work available with opportunities to progress within the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
