Field Care Supervisor - Domiciliary Care (X 2 Positions Available)

About Unisus Care Ltd

Unisus Care Ltd is a growing, quality-focused domiciliary care provider supporting adults across North Tyneside. We are committed to delivering safe, person-centred, outcome-focused care in line with CQC standards and best practice guidance.

We are now seeking a motivated and experienced Field Care Supervisor to support the Registered Manager and lead care delivery within the community.

This is a key leadership role within the service, combining hands-on care delivery with structured supervisory and quality assurance responsibilities.

The Role

The Field Care Supervisor will:

Support the Registered Manager in maintaining high standards of care delivery.
Supervise and mentor Care Assistants working in the field.
Complete spot checks, supervisions, face-to-face meetings and competency assessments (Medication & Moving & Handling).
Monitor compliance and ensure care is delivered in line with care plans, company policies and CQC regulations.
Act as a stand-in Care Assistant where required.
Cover staff sickness until 10:00am on the day of absence.
Participate in the on-call rota:
17:00 - 09:00 Monday–Friday
24-hour cover weekends and Bank Holidays (including Christmas & New Year) on a rota basis.
Report urgent safeguarding or quality concerns immediately to senior management.
Support office-based administrative duties when required.
Use PASS system app to log visits and maintain accurate documentation.

The role is structured as:

20 hours direct care
20 hours supervisory and compliance responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in:

Conducting regular spot checks to monitor care standards.
Completing medication and moving & handling competencies.
Holding structured supervisions and performance reviews.
Supporting rota planning and responding to emergency staffing gaps.
Ensuring confidentiality, professionalism and safeguarding awareness at all times.
Supporting care delivery including:
Personal care
Medication prompts
Meal preparation
Cleaning and domestic support
Shopping
Social engagement
Day/night sitting
Companionship support

What We Are Looking ForEssential Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete within 2 years)
Experience in rota planning and scheduling
Full UK Driving Licence, own vehicle & business insurance
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Flexible and adaptable approach
Commitment to high-quality, person-centred care
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

Desirable

Experience using PASS or CarePlanner systems
Experience working with vulnerable adults in domiciliary care
