Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve daily targets and KPIs
Allocate tasks effectively and monitor performance
Provide guidance, coaching, and ongoing support
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow
Ensure all processes are followed in line with company procedures
Identify and resolve operational issues promptly
Monitor individual and team performance against targets
Conduct regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and performance reviews
Support training and development of team members
Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
Promote a safe working environment and report any incidents
Act as a key point of contact between management and team members
Deliver daily briefings and team updates
Escalate issues or risks where necessary
Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
Support implementation of new systems or procedures

Key Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience operating forklifts; certification is desirable.
Organised with strong attention to detail
Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required.

Desirable

Experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations environments
Knowledge of performance metrics and KPI management systems

Pay: £28,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
