Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for food and a keen interest in culinary arts, providing excellent service and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, supporting meal preparation and serving in a busy kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food presentation to ensure quality standards are met
Support the cooking process, following recipes and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
Ensure food safety protocols are adhered to at all times
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, peeling, and measuring
Serve food to customers in a courteous and professional manner
Assist with catering events as required
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards colleagues and customers
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
