Full job description

Bramblys Grange is looking to recruit an enthusiastic part-time medical receptionists to work 20 hours per week in the friendly reception teams at both our Town Centre Practice and branch Practice in Rooksdown. As a Medical Receptionist you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties including, greeting and directing patients, the effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. Must be available to start work at 8:00am.

You will act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. Previous surgery experience is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will be confident speaking to patients and able to communicate professionally and effectively. Experience of conflict resolution and difficult situations is beneficial and individuals should be able to display empathy and compassion. Strong written, oral and IT skills is essential for this role.
