Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director in a dynamic professional environment. This role involves managing a wide range of administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth communication across departments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, be proficient in office software, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their administrative expertise within a reputable organisation.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements efficiently
Handle correspondence including emails, phone calls, and written communication with professionalism and courtesy
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Perform data entry tasks accurately and maintain organised records
Assist with organising company events, meetings, and conferences
Manage incoming enquiries and direct them appropriately
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
Support general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and ordering office supplies
Utilise QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks and expense management
Ensure all administrative processes are completed in a timely manner with high accuracy

Skills

Proven administrative experience with strong organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good typing speed to facilitate efficient document preparation
Previous office experience is preferred but not essential; a keen willingness to learn is vital
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly

This role requires a dedicated individual who can work independently while supporting the Managing Director’s busy schedule. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,000.00 per year
