Full job description

The Explorer Café is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic cook to join our friendly team working in our busy café within the Tiso Outdoor Experience store.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support the Kitchen Manager with the day to day running of the kitchen.
Assisting with the ordering of & close management of stock
Ensuring all Health & Hygiene procedures are implemented & continually adhered to.
Assist in the food preparation pre and during service
Ability to learn & understand new cooking techniques.
Ensures food leaves the pass timely
Have the ability to work & train on every section of the cook line.

30-35 hours per week

The ideal candidate will be a team player able to create a positive environment in the kitchen.

This is a permanent daytime role with no evenings or split shifts required. Hours are worked on a 5 days from 7 rota including weekends.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year's experience in a kitchen
Ideally hold a Level 1 Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate
