Ever wanted a hands-on role where no two days are the same?

One day you could be repairing a bouncy castle, the next helping install a full inflatable park, unloading deliveries or preparing products to go out to customers.

Welcome to Airquee– Europe’s largest and most respected inflatable manufacturer – and we’re looking for a practical, reliable Inflatable Repair Engineer to join our growing team in Leicester.

About the role

This is a hands-on repair, warehouse and installation role for someone who enjoys practical work, fixing things, being active and getting stuck in.

You’ll help repair, maintain, move, load, unload, dispatch and install commercial inflatables, including bouncy castles, slides, obstacle courses, games, inflatable parks and other leisure products.

You’ll be based mainly at our Leicester site, but there will also be on-site work across the UK and, from time to time, international projects.

What you’ll be doing

Repairing inflatables, including PVC repairs, patching and general maintenance
Inspecting products and identifying repair work needed
Checking seams, anchor points, zips, artwork, netting and wear areas
Helping load, unload and move inflatables safely
Preparing products for dispatch to customers
Organising and maintaining the warehouse
Keeping stock, materials and repair areas tidy and well managed
Cleaning, folding and packing inflatables
Supporting customer repair work and warranty jobs
Installing inflatables and inflatable parks on-site
Helping with open days, trade shows and events
Working with our sales, admin, logistics and production teams

Who this role is perfect for

This role is ideal for someone who:

Is practical, hands-on and good at fixing things
Is physically fit and happy lifting, moving and handling inflatables
Takes pride in neat, tidy and reliable work
Is organised and able to manage different jobs at once
Can work independently and as part of a team
Has a positive attitude and wants to learn
Is happy working in the warehouse, workshop and on-site
Is flexible with travel when needed
Is confident dealing with customers on-site in a professional way

Experience repairing inflatables would be ideal, but we’re also open to someone with experience in PVC, upholstery, sewing, vehicle trimming, marquee repairs, fabrication, sign making, warehouse work, installations, events, maintenance or similar hands-on roles.

Full training can be given to the right person.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence required for on-site work
Passport would be beneficial due to potential international projects
Must be comfortable with physical work, lifting and moving large inflatables
Must be reliable, practical and willing to get stuck in
Previous repair, installation, warehouse or maintenance experience would be beneficial
