About the Role:

As a Associate Product Manager, you are the bridge between a visionary product strategy and high-quality technical execution. You will play a vital role in Finova’s product team, taking ownership of initiatives and ensuring that what we build is grounded in real-world user value. This isn't just about managing a backlog; it’s about deep-diving into complex financial workflows, advocating for the user, and collaborating with engineering to bring solutions to life. Whether you are breaking down ambiguous business problems or validating a new feature with a client, you will be a key driver of momentum and clarity within the delivery lifecycle.

About you:

You are an inquisitive, detail-oriented problem solver who is passionate about how technology can transform financial services. You may be early in your product career, but you possess the analytical mindset and communication skills needed to influence a technical roadmap.

A Structured Thinker: You have a natural ability to take messy, complex problems and break them down into clear, actionable steps.
FinTech Enthusiast: You have a genuine interest in (or experience with) software solutions for the mortgage, lending, or savings sectors.
User-Centric: You are driven by empathy for the end-user and are always looking for ways to simplify their experience.
Data-Literate: You are comfortable working with information, validating assumptions, and using evidence to drive your decisions.
Clear Communicator: You can explain technical concepts simply and are equally comfortable talking to engineers as you are to client-facing teams.
Agile Learner: You have a foundational understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and are eager to master modern product management tools.
Collaborative Partner: You thrive in cross-functional settings, building strong relationships across data, engineering, and customer success teams.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will be "hands-on" across the entire product journey, from initial discovery through to post-release analysis.

Driving Product Discovery: Assisting Product Managers in defining value-driven requirements and breaking down complex workflows for the engineering team.
Managing the Backlog: Participating in agile ceremonies to prioritize the engineering backlog, balancing new features with technical debt and user improvements.
Facilitating Collaboration: Acting as the glue between stakeholders, ensuring alignment on requirements and articulating product insights to diverse audiences.
Coordinating Delivery: Contributing to planning activities and working with internal teams to ensure users are trained and supported for every release.
Validating with Users: Partnering with the design team to run user research sessions and demos, gathering feedback to identify pain points and opportunities.
Authoring Documentation: Creating clear, confident release communications and internal documentation that help colleagues and clients adopt new features.
Analyzing Performance: Supporting the collection of user adoption data and product metrics to measure success and influence future roadmap decisions.
