Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Elmscot Group in Hale, the role is for 20 hours per week . In this role, you will support our catering and meal preparation efforts, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience for the children. Your contribution will help us maintain high standards of food safety and quality in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities

Assist in meal and food preparation for children in accordance with nutritional standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
Support the Nursery cook.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Follow hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment.
Collaborate with staff to deliver a smooth dining experience for children.
Qualifications
Experience in catering or kitchen assistance, preferably within childcare or similar settings.
Knowledge of food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Good communication skills.
A positive attitude and team spirit.
Flexibility to support various tasks as needed.
Basic cooking skills are desirable. Preferred:
Previous experience working with children or in early years settings.
Food handling certification.
