Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Your expertise in mechanical systems, use of hand and power tools, and ability to interpret schematics will be essential in delivering high-quality service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse vehicle types and contribute to the safety and efficiency of our fleet.

Duties

Perform comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems with precision
Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently
Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and system calibrations
Diagnose complex mechanical problems through troubleshooting procedures and testing equipment
Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed
Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or cumbersome vehicle parts or equipment

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic or similar role with a strong mechanical knowledge base
Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and repair manuals accurately
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and equipment repair standards
Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly and accurately
