About The Role

As a Warehouse Operative you will play a key role in the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring that trade and retail customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, good organisation, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays’ 8.30am – 1pm

Key Responsibilities:

Pick, pack, and prepare automotive parts for delivery or collection

Receive incoming deliveries and check them against purchase orders

Store parts correctly and keep the warehouse organised and tidy

Load and unload delivery vans safely and efficiently

Assist with regular stock checks and inventory control

Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items

Support delivery drivers with loading and route preparation

Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies

Provide occasional support to the parts counter or customer service team when needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stockroom environment is preferred but not essential

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines

Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

Basic IT or handheld scanner skills

Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy

Full UK driving licence (desirable, especially if supporting with deliveries)
