Full job description

We are looking for a reliable and organised individual to join our small production and fulfilment team.

This position is primarily based around weekend working, covering Saturdays and Sundays.

As part of a smaller weekend team, you will often be trusted to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of your responsibilities throughout the day. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage their workload effectively without constant direction.

This role would suit somebody who takes pride in their work, uses their initiative, and can be relied upon to maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity while working independently.

This is not a traditional warehouse picking role. Our operation is more similar to a retail back-of-house or small production environment, where attention to detail, organisation, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Working as part of a small team, you will be involved in a variety of day-to-day tasks including garment preparation, printing, stock handling, quality control, and order fulfilment. No two days are exactly the same, so flexibility and a positive attitude are important.

Key Responsibilities

Printing and preparing garments accurately and efficiently for customer orders.
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
Stock control, stock handling, and inventory organisation.
Processing returned items and carrying out quality control checks.
Manual handling, including lifting and moving boxes of stock within safe working limits.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
Supporting the wider team with general production and fulfilment tasks as required.
Able to work confidently with minimal supervision and take ownership of day-to-day responsibilities.

Garment Printing & Production

A significant part of this role involves operating garment printing equipment and preparing products for dispatch. Previous printing or production experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable learning practical production processes, following procedures accurately, and maintaining high quality standards. Attention to detail is particularly important, as you will be responsible for ensuring products are printed, checked, and prepared correctly before they are sent to customers.

It may be less suitable for candidates whose experience is limited to large warehouse environments focused primarily on barcode scanning and repetitive picking tasks.

Hours may vary slightly to meet the needs of the business during busy periods.
