Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lithographic & Digital Printer to join our dynamic printing team. This role involves operating both lithographic and digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in specialising within the printing industry, with potential for career development and skill enhancement.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate lithographic and digital printing machinery to produce various printed products.
Prepare print files, load materials, and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal output quality.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimise downtime.
Monitor print runs for colour accuracy, registration, and overall quality, making adjustments as necessary.
Perform finishing tasks such as cutting, folding, binding, or assembling printed materials.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and client specifications.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge of printing machinery and related equipment.
Knowledge of pre press and imposition software
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication or minor repairs.
Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding inventory management within the production environment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or bulky materials.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on colour accuracy and print quality.
Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
