Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit CSCS Groundworkers to join our construction team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various site activities, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience within the construction industry and develop their skills on diverse projects.

Duties

Assisting with general site clearance, including removing debris and organising materials
Loading and unloading construction materials and equipment
Assisting tradespeople with their tasks as required
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Digging, trenching, and preparing sites for construction activities
Supporting the delivery and storage of materials on-site
Operating basic tools and equipment under supervision
Ensuring all work complies with site safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

Valid CSCS card is essential
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high safety standards

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction, offering valuable hands-on experience across different projects. Applicants should be prepared to work outdoors in varying conditions and demonstrate a proactive approach to safety and teamwork
