Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mobile devices. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic components, computer hardware, and schematics, along with excellent problem-solving skills. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and customer service are highly valued.

Duties

Diagnose faults in mobile phones and related electronic devices using specialised tools and diagnostic software
Repair or replace faulty components, including screens, batteries, and internal hardware
Utilise hand tools effectively for disassembly and reassembly of devices
Perform maintenance tasks on mobile phones to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware, networking, and equipment repair as they relate to mobile device functionality
Follow schematics and technical diagrams to accurately repair complex electronic systems
Conduct quality checks post-repair to ensure devices meet company standards
Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed
Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding device maintenance and troubleshooting

Experience

Proven experience in mobile phone repair or electronics repair is preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to small electronic components is essential
Familiarity with hand tools used in electronic repairs is required
Experience with computer hardware, including troubleshooting computer repair issues and maintenance, is advantageous
Knowledge of schematics, computer networking, and equipment repair enhances the ability to diagnose complex problems effectively
Prior experience working with computer repair or maintenance tasks is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific company procedures
