Heavy haulage. Crane and lifting. Specialist trailer servicing. Engineering fabrication, and that's just for starters. If you want a health and safety role with real variety and a range of situations to manage, not just policy writing, this one's worth a look. You'll cover three sites, each with its own operations, and you'll be out on the ground regularly, not stuck behind a desk.

Location: Weston, Nottinghamshire, NG23 6SY (covering Weston, Sutton-on-Trent and Tuxford)

Working Hours: Full time. Monday – Friday

Pay: Up to £50,000, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out and maintaining risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work across our sites.
Getting out on site regularly, not just managing from a desk
Owning the group health and safety framework and keeping it current
Investigating incidents and near misses and putting practical fixes in place
Supporting site leads and managers with day-to-day safety matters
Maintaining FORS Gold and LOLER compliance
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors on safety priorities

What You’ll Bring

NEBOSH qualification (General Certificate minimum)
IOSH membership (TechIOSH minimum)
Proven experience in a multi-site health and safety role, ideally within transport, engineering or heavy industry
Training in ADR awareness would be beneficial
A practical, common-sense approach focused on solving problems rather than creating them
Confidence talking to people on the shop floor as well as in the office
Full UK driving licence, with willingness to travel regularly between sites that are 4 miles apart
